Ryan had his 1st soccer game of the season on Thursday. He was so excited, he hasn't played in the rec league for a couple years but decided to join again this year. At 1st the coach put him in goal, I'm not sure why since he has never played that position before and now they are old enough to use the regular size goal and Ryan is one of the shortest kids on the team. He did okay, saved quite a few but he did let in 4. 3 of which were way over his head and he had no chance of getting them. When the coach finally took him out he put him on the front line and he did awesome, i was so proud of him. they didn't win the score was 6-2 but they all tried really hard and played a great game.

I think Coach's like to move the kids around to learn about the different positions...sounds like he did a great job!
